DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to inform you that a volunteer skin care & make-up artist from the “Look Good Feel Better” charity organisation will be holding a workshop: \n  \nHeld: The Hope Cancer Support Centre \nWhen: Look Good Feel Better Workshop \nTime: 11am –1pm \n  \nFinding out you have cancer can be daunting and life-changing and the added stress of the appearance-related side effects of treatment can be demoralising and very hard to cope with. This can have serious consequences on self-esteem and confidence at a time when a positive attitude is very important. \nOur vision is that the Look Good Feel Better programme be an integral part of cancer care in Ireland supporting people with cancer. \nOur mission is to help improve the well-being and confidence of women undergoing treatment for any type of cancer. SUMMARY:Hope and Dream 10\, 2024
DESCRIPTION:This year’s Hope and Dream 10\, 2024 will be held on Sunday 7th April 2024. We look forward to your participation!\nSimilar to last year\, the proceeds will again go to supporting our services for clients. These include support worker assessment and support\, counselling\, reflexology\, massage\, lymphoedema treatment \, bra and prosthesis fitting along with all our support groups and programmes. We are in the process of redeveloping the Centre and incorporating the new premises into the old. It is important to note that a completely separate funding stream will be utilised to fund the development and no Hope and Dream 10 proceeds will be used for this development. \nWe are delighted to offer the choice of a virtual event again this year along with the option of 10 km and 10 mile. This does however create an additional administrative challenge and we would ask that you please read our FAQ section before you participate in the event. \nHope and Dream 10 continues to be a major event in the South East. The money raised over the past 12 years has made a huge difference to the quality of life for hundreds of people across County Wexford. We hope that each participant will raise as much money as possible for the Hope Cancer Support Centre. \nSo please\, do the best you can…if we do nothing….nothing will happen. \n  \nRegister here at www.hopeanddream10.com\n  \n \n
