DESCRIPTION:Women’s Monthly Support Group\n  \nOur first women’s monthly cancer support group meeting will be on the Friday 14th February 2025 from 10.30am -12pm. \nFollowing this meeting the group will then be held on the second Friday of each month from 10.30am-12pm. \n  \nThe group is open to women of all ages with all types of cancer. This is an opportunity for women to meet in a relaxed and friendly space to share their questions\, worries\, fears\, and experiences of living with cancer over a cup of tea. Talking to others who have a similar experience can be very helpful and supportive. DESCRIPTION:Our Six-week Chair Yoga Programme will commence on Monday 10th February from 11am-12pm with our professionally qualified yoga instructor Julie Fox. \nChair yoga is an adapted form of yoga practice that allows you to stay seated while practicing yoga focused poses. It can be practiced by anyone who wants to enjoy the benefits of yoga and may (or may not) have mobility limitations. \nOur gentle yoga classes begin with movements seated in a chair and continue to standing postures with the option of using the chair for support. Traditional yoga movements\, breathing\, and meditation techniques are adapted so everyone can receive the benefits of yoga regardless of level of health. \nIn addition to a good stretch\, chair yoga participants can also enjoy other health benefits of yoga may include: \n\nImproved Flexibility\nBuilding Strength\nImproved Balance\nImprove Sleep\nReduce Fatigue\nReduce Stress\n\nIf you would like to take part\, please contact reception on 053-9238555 or email info@hopesupportcentre.ie

DESCRIPTION:Registration is opened for the 14th Hope and Dream 10\, being held on 6th April 2025!\nRegister here at https://www.hopeanddream10.com/\n\n\n\nWe are delighted to offer the choice of a virtual event again this year along with the option of 10 km and 10 mile. \nSimilar to last year\, the proceeds will again go to supporting our services for clients. These include assessment and support\, counselling\, reflexology\, massage\, lymphoedema treatment \, children’s counselling and play therapy along with all our support groups\, classes  and programmes. In 2024\, we delivered 3\,670 sessions to 590 clients across one to one services \nHope and Dream 10 continues to be a major event in the South East. The money raised over the past 13 years has made a huge difference to the quality of life for hundreds of people across County Wexford. We hope that each participant will raise as much money as possible for the Hope Cancer Support Centre. \nSo please\, do the best you can… if we do nothing….nothing will happen

This is an opportunity for women to meet in a relaxed and friendly space to share their questions\, worries\, fears\, and experiences of living with cancer over a cup of tea. Talking to others who have a similar experience can be very helpful and supportive.
