DESCRIPTION:Women’s Monthly Support Group\n  \nOur first women’s monthly cancer support group meeting will be on the Friday 14th February 2025 from 10.30am -12pm. \nFollowing this meeting the group will then be held on the second Friday of each month from 10.30am-12pm. \n  \nThe group is open to women of all ages with all types of cancer. This is an opportunity for women to meet in a relaxed and friendly space to share their questions\, worries\, fears\, and experiences of living with cancer over a cup of tea. Talking to others who have a similar experience can be very helpful and supportive. SUMMARY:Look Good Feel Better Workshop for Men (June)
DESCRIPTION:Look Good Feel Better for Men is a practical guide to help men deal with some of the side effects of cancer treatment including skin changes\, hair loss\, stress\, and other issues. In fact\, doctors agree a better outlook can begin by reducing the appearance-related side effects of cancer treatment. \n  \nLook Good Feel Better is dedicated to supporting you at every stage of your journey. This workshop will offer advice and guidance around the physical changes you may experience while undergoing treatment. It is open to anyone with any type of cancer. This group workshops will give expert advice on skincare during and post treatment; tips for shaving safely during treatment along with general grooming; the importance of sun protection\, and how to deal with scars. They are a great way to meet others on a similar journey to share experiences and ideas with. Everybody attending is gifted with a bag of full-size skincare and grooming products to try out during the workshop and take home with them \n  \n20th June \n11am – 1pm

The field will officially launch next Friday\, July 25 at 7:30pm. \n  \nSituated behind Hammel’s Centra in Kilmuckridge\, the sunflower field will reopen for a second year\, after last year’s success. \nThis year’s field has been tended since January and has benefited greatly from the recent sunny weather\, bringing an earlier than expected bloom and plenty of colour to Kilmuckridge. \nVisitors are invited to stop by\, pick a sunflower\, and make a donation as a token of appreciation. All proceeds will go directly to The Hope Cancer Support Centre in Enniscorthy.

DESCRIPTION:Chair yoga is an adapted form of yoga practice that allows you to stay seated while practicing yoga focused poses.
