Chair Yoga (Week 1)

Our Six-week Chair Yoga Programme will commence on Monday 10th February from 11am-12pm with our professionally qualified yoga instructor Julie Fox.

Chair yoga is an adapted form of yoga practice that allows you to stay seated while practicing yoga focused poses. It can be practiced by anyone who wants to enjoy the benefits of yoga and may (or may not) have mobility limitations.

Our gentle yoga classes begin with movements seated in a chair and continue to standing postures with the option of using the chair for support. Traditional yoga movements, breathing, and meditation techniques are adapted so everyone can receive the benefits of yoga regardless of level of health.

In addition to a good stretch, chair yoga participants can also enjoy other health benefits of yoga may include:

  • Improve Sleep
  • Reduce Fatigue
  • Reduce Stress
