Free legal advice clinic specialising in social welfare rights and appeals including overpayments

Community Law & Mediation (CLM) is a community law centre, which provides free legal advice, advocacy and mediation services.
In partnership with the Irish Cancer Society, CLM is running a monthly, free legal advice clinic specialising in social welfare rights and appeals, including overpayments.
Free legal advice is available relating to:
- Carer’s Supports
- Illness/Disability Supports
- All other social welfare payments
- Medical Card Application Appeals Rejections
The next free legal advice clinic will take place on 17th February and each third Thursday of the following month unless it conflicts with a holiday. We will notify in advance each month.
People who would like to learn more about the service should get in touch with the Irish Cancer Society Support Line on 1800 200 700 or email firstname.lastname@example.org by 14th February at the latest. Please note that appointments are limited and therefore not guaranteed additionally the Society must review the applicant to ensure they are suitable for referral to CLM under this scheme. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, legal advice clinic appointments will take place by phone.
