The Hope Shop has been opened since 2003.  Since its inception we have come a long way in creating the Hope Shop reputation that you see today.  As our reputation is our most valued asset, we have welcomed so many changes particularly over the last year and a half. It would not be possible to implement these changes without our volunteers.  Each one of our volunteers possess the expertise and knowledge that is needed in the smooth running of the shop. This little piece of Enniscorthy on the Mill Park Road could be described as an Aladdin’s cave of which little gems are found whether it be a little black dress, men’s shoes or that book you were looking for but couldn’t find in bigger outlets.  These little gems are all thanks to our wonderful donating community who trust us with their most treasured possessions.  These little gems are then sorted in their respective categories in our sorting room and then sent to the front of the store to be sold.  This operation is preformed by our volunteers who do an undeniable service of excellence to the Hope Shop. They are irreplaceable and viewed very highly by both colleagues and customers alike.   A big thank you to all our donators as this enterprise would not be possible without you.   If you don’t see what you are looking for on the shop floor, please do not hesitate to ask a member of staff as we may have it but have not put it in the shop yet.

It’s that time of year again when children are returning to school and the dreaded uniforms must be purchased.  We have a large stock of local school uniforms including Colaiste Bride, St. Aidans, CBS and Enniscorthy Vocational Schools.  We also have plain blue jumpers without a crest, a large selection of plain grey trousers and skirts.  Please ask a member of staff for assistance regarding sizes when browsing.

We would like to introduce you to our bridal, bridesmaids’/evening dresses.  This is a new venture coming to fruition very soon, but we wanted to give you a little peek of what we have to offer.   We also have a variety of mother of the bride/groom outfits in store.  Over the next few weeks, you will be able to view our stock at our online store at www.hopesupportcentre.ie.  If there is anything you would like to view, please contact Dawn at 053-9238310 to arrange an appointment.

There is an immense amount of work going on behind the scenes since reopening to improve your overall shopping experience.  From our online store to developing our evening wear and bridal section.  As we rely on volunteers to provide an unbeatable shopping experience, we are always looking for additional volunteers to keep a tradition of over 25 years in Enniscorthy going.   If you think this is something you would like to get involved in, please contact the Hope Support Centre at 053-9238555 or download the volunteer application form from our website.
